Why Should I book a professional Makeup Artist for my big day?

How far in advance should i book a makeup artist?

I would recommend if booking with us to book as soon as you decide to get married, we generally are booked 6 months to a year in advance.

What Does My Bridal booking consist of?

If booking your hair and makeup then it includes your bridal lashes, dupatta setting, jewellery setting, bridal hair including hair pieces and hair sponges and Bridal makeup. This booking always includes an optional free half hour consultation.

I am not sure what Makeup and hair will suit Me on my big day? Is this something that you do?

Without a doubt, we are here to help you, if you have already bought your outfit and jewellery then in the first instance please share to understand your colour themes, from there look at social media, google etc of bridal looks you like so that we have an understanding of your expectations and requirements, we will then take your ideas on board and combine it with our ideas to create a bespoke look that suits you above all. This goes with your hair style also, we will create an hairstyle that works for you, however if you have short hair do not worry we can extend your hair and give you the desired length you require.

What Brands do you use on us Brides? And is it long lasting?

We have a range of brands that we use and are made to last all day, we use water resistant eye products to stop those tears ruining your makeup and use nothing less that tried and tested products ranging from Charlotte tilbury, HUDA, Smashbox, MAC, Kryolan, Inglot, Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, NARS, Tarte amongst many more.

 

How long are your services?

Guest makeup only bookings takes upto 30 minutes

Guest hair only bookings takes upto 45 minutes

Both Guest hair and makeup booking takes upto 1 and half hours

Bridesmaid/mother of the bride/groom makeup only takes 50 mins

Bridesmaid/mother of the bride/groom hair only bookings takes upto 60 minutes

Both the above hair and makeup booking takes upto 2 hours 

​

Mehndi / engagement and Civil hair and makeup bookings takes upto 2 and half hours

​

All Bridal hair and makeup takes approx 3 hours - 3 and half hours

​

For ALL Bridal ONLY MAKEUP only Approx. 1 and half hours- 1 hour and 45 mins

For BRIDAL ONLY hair this includes full dupatta, jewelry setting approx 2 hours

What Hygiene precautions do you take?

We are always wearing PPE which includes disposable aprons, your disposable cape, mask and hand is sanitised between clients.

Farah's make-up  kit is cleaned regularly all make-up brushes are cleaned and sanitised after each person. We only use disposable mascara wands and disposable sponges and we ensure to take out the product so that we do not use the lipsticks/foundation/ concealer etc directly on the clients face.
